Download your place, test the real gameplay, and publish through Roblox Studio.
Choose the version to export
Open the project and review its current saved version. If you need an earlier version, restore it from History first. Exporting does not run another AI build.
Download or apply your place
Use Export in the editor to download the Roblox place file. Open the exported place in Roblox Studio. You can also use the connected Wobli plugin to apply a version to your working place.
The browser scene preview and a Roblox place file serve different purposes. Gameplay scripts run in Roblox Studio, not in the web preview.
Run a complete playtest
Test the game as a player before sharing it. Check more than the opening scene.
- Spawn and navigation work.
- Objectives can be completed and rewards are correct.
- Failure, reset, and rejoining behave as intended.
- UI is readable on your target devices.
- Multiplayer rules behave correctly when relevant.
Publish from Roblox Studio
Use Studio’s publishing tools and your Roblox account to release the experience. Review Roblox’s current publishing requirements and community standards. Wobli does not publish directly to your Roblox account.
