Install the Wobli plugin and connect your project for building and playtesting.
The Creator Store listing is not published yet. Use the local installation steps below.
Install the Wobli plugin
Use the install action above to get the plugin. If a Creator Store listing is available, install it there and open Wobli from Studio’s Plugins toolbar.
For a development download, place Wobli.rbxmx in the folder opened by Plugins → Plugins Folder. Reopen Studio to load the plugin. The file is a plugin package, not a place: opening the download by itself does not install it.
Alternatively, insert the file into ServerStorage, select the Wobli script, choose Save as Local Plugin, then remove the inserted copy.
Connect your project
Open Wobli in Studio and choose Connect account. Open the approval link in your browser, sign in, and choose your project. The plugin remembers your account and lets you switch between your projects.
Approval links expire after ten minutes. Allow HTTP access to your Wobli server when Studio prompts you. Approve only a request you started. Connection codes remain available under Server settings.
Review and apply a version
The plugin shows the incoming revision and object changes. Review the generated scripts in the web editor and apply the version when you are ready. Imported changes can be undone in Studio.
If the plugin detects conflicting local edits, it stops the import. Review the conflict, preserve any work you need, and resolve it before retrying. Automatic two-way merging is not supported.
Playtest in Roblox Studio
Press Play to run the actual game. Test the first objective, rewards, UI, restarts, and any multiplayer behavior. Refine the project in the web editor and apply another version as needed. Publish using Roblox Studio once you are ready.
Connection and permissions
Keep the Wobli server and Studio available while working. If the plugin cannot connect, check its HTTP permissions and the server address. If script changes fail, check script modification permission.
The plugin manages the content it imports; unrelated objects should remain separate. Disconnect in the web editor to revoke that project connection. If Studio asks you to reconnect after reopening, create a fresh pairing code.
